Ages 9 - 13 MAP Department
Students will test into a level of instruction for basic skills (reading, English, math) and participate in multiage activities relative to religion, science, and social studies. Independent work will be balanced with group projects and discussions. Content will be chosen from Washington State curriculum guidelines and Lutheran School guidelines.
At the end of the Third Quarter of the school year, evaluation relative to grade level placement will be determined with standardized tests as well as teacher observations.
We anticipate 15-20 students in this department.
Physical Education, Music, and Art classes will be taught in Department groupings.
